Deer Creek State Park & Reservoir

Deer Creek State Park is a hub for exciting activities like windsurfing, boating, zip lining, swimming, and fishing on the cool Deer Creek Reservoir. Explore the lower Provo River by floating or kayaking and relax at campgrounds with stunning Mount Timpanogos views. Boaters have access to open water via the Main Deer Creek and Island Boat Ramps, with life jackets required for all. Dogs are welcome on boats but must remain leashed and out of the water.

Open from May to October, the range is free with park entry, though you’ll need to bring your own equipment.

The Weber River, stretching about 125 miles through northern Utah, is a scenic and historically rich waterway. It originates in the Uinta Mountains, flows through areas like Oakley and Coalville, and fills Rockport and Echo Reservoirs before joining the Ogden River and contributing significantly to the Great Salt Lake.
