There’s no doubt that Park City is synonymous with epic, winter-time fun. Our ski slopes are legendary and our snow-capped mountain vistas are stunning. But don’t let that wintery reputation fool you— summertime in Park City is nothing short of extraordinary. From hiking to paddleboarding to golf— as the temperatures heat up and the snow melts away, there’s a little something for everyone to explore.
Here are a few things we’re looking forward to this summer in Park City.
Park Silly Sunday Market
780 Main Street
Re-opening for the season on June 6, this popular, eco-friendly open-air market is a must-see, family-friendly event during the summer. The market features live music, tons of eclectic arts & crafts vendors, fresh local produce, and lots of gourmet food to sample and purchase. There’s also an awesome beer garden and an amazing bloody mary bar. The Park Silly Sunday Market is a delicious, entertaining Sunday treat for the whole fam.
This year, due to popular demand, there will also be a Park Silly Saturday Market— held the third Saturday of the month beginning May 15th— at the Shops at South Town.
Take a look inside our Prospector Condos that will put you about a five-minute drive from the Park Silly Sunday Market and all the dining and shopping in the historic downtown district.
Kimball Arts Festival
Historic Main Street
Calling all artists! The Kimball Arts Festival is one of the top-rated art festivals in the country. Held from August 6 to August 8, 2021, this three-day celebration of the arts is a dynamic, exciting event that’s also a massive fundraiser for the Kimball Arts Center. Featuring food trucks and tasting tents, you’ll also have plenty of opportunities to sample some delicious local delicacies, too.
With more than 200 professional artists showcasing their amazing talents, the festival is a feast for the senses and the soul. Peruse expert potters, stunning painters, and everything in between.
Our Carriage House Condo has space for 4 and will put you minutes away from this can’t-miss annual event.
Egyptian Theater
328 Main Street
Although this majestic theater— like many across the country— was forced to close in 2020 for the pandemic, we are so thrilled to learn that they are reopening this year with a full roster of crowd-pleasing live shows. Opened on Christmas Day in 1926, the Egyptian Theater has been a cultural landmark for the Park City community ever since.
This summer, the glorious, historic theater will host a youth summer camp and the Park City Follies. Many more shows will be announced as the summer progresses, so visit their website and be sure to sign up for their newsletter to stay up-to-date on upcoming shows.
