July 4th Pancake Breakfast and 5K Fun Run

The 4th of July is always a massive event in Park City. Things kick off with a pancake breakfast at City Park at 7 AM. At 8 AM, there is the annual, incredibly popular 5K Fun Run that boasts over 1,000 participants of all ages and abilities. 

Independence Day Festivities

Pioneer Day

A local holiday in Utah that often defines the height of summertime fun, Pioneer Day is held every year at the end of July and celebrates the arrival of the Mormon community, led by Brigham Young, into the area. 

The Pioneer Day holiday this year is Monday, July 24, 2023, with banks and Utah state offices often closed on that day. Throughout the weekend before, there are often fireworks and Main Street parades to celebrate the day.
