Top Places to Grocery Shop in Park City

We get it— grocery shopping isn’t exactly what you’re thinking about when you’re planning you’re next escape to Park City. The epic mountain views, world-class hiking trails, spectacular skiing, and charming downtown are probably at the top of your mind— as they should be! But renting a Moose Management home with a fabulous kitchen then filling that kitchen with some of your favorite pantry items will help take your Park City vacay from mundane to magnificent.

Allow us to explain.

When you book a stay at one of our fabulous vacation homes, like Newpark Terrace 53 or Three Kings 8, you’ll have plenty of room for the whole family to stay close yet have their own space. Plus, you’ll have access to a convenient full kitchen— with a refrigerator, range, dishwasher, and microwave. Your crew will love gathering together in their PJs over fresh-brewed coffee and muffins in the morning or fixing a quick snack to take on the trails. Not only will you save a ton of cash on dining out, but you’ll enjoy some more lazy together time, too.

Here are a few places we love to visit to stock up. Check ‘em out— and get planning.

The Market

1500 Snow Creek Drive, Park City

We mentioned The Market in a previous post about souvenir shopping in Park City— but it bears repeating. This place is awesome. There is so much selection here that you’ll want to take your time. Are you looking for super-fresh produce? They’ve got it. How about a premier butcher and cheese shop? Check and check. In the mood for some sushi? Pick some up here. Freshly baked loaves of bread, pre-made salads, and a bakery that sells decadent Auntie Em’s cakes and pies— they’re all here.

You’ll also want to pick up a loaf or two of Red Bicycle Bread. This local delicacy has earned the affectionate nickname of “crack bread” by Park City regulars for its rich, buttery-popcorn flavor. Definitely give it a try. They also offer delivery right to your door!

Whole Foods at Canyon Corners

6958 North Landmark Drive, Park City

The gold standard for organic chain grocery stores, Whole Foods at Canyon Corners is a Park City staple. The standard produce, butcher, baker, and frozen foods sections are well designed and organized. And their selections always include a lovely array of organic and non-toxic products. This particular Whole Foods also has a wonderful salad bar and deli with hot items available, plus a spacious seating area for eating in.

The Whole Foods app is convenient for ordering online and scheduling delivery or curbside pick-up. You can also order ready-to-eat foods too like hot pizza or fried chicken.

Fresh Market Park City

1760 Park Avenue

Although they describe themselves as “an upscale grocery with an old-world vibe” Fresh Market Park City has surprisingly affordable prices. They’re best known for their fantastic bakery, and there’s even a Starbucks inside the store for a quick pick-me-up.

A number of online reviewers also complement their great deli (try the Broccolli and Cheddar soup), extensively friendly and helpful staff, and great, upbeat music.
