It’s the “most wonderful time of the year” – Holiday Season in Park City! And here, in this winter wonderland, we take that very seriously!
After all, we have the picture-perfect storybook setting from which to celebrate the season. From our shimmering snow-covered mountains to our quaint Main Street filled with twinkling holiday lights and the nightly celebrations of the season, you’ll find more than enough to love during the end-of-the-year festivities in Park City!
For those interested in some of those celebrations, take a look at:
Park City Snowfest
Between the dates of December 20 and January 5, come on out to Park City Mountain and take in the wonder that is Snowfest.
With the entire family in mind, these 16 days of celebration include such activities as music, art, caroling, meet & greets with the Avalanche dogs, games, ice sculptures, complimentary s’mores and lots of other kids’ activities, fireworks and more! Daily multiple activities mean fun for everyone.
57th Annual Torchlight Parade
Arguably, the piece de resistance of the Snowfest is the most popular holiday season activity in Park City. Here, the Park City’s ski and snowboard instructors lead Santa Claus down the mountain, turn by turn, straight into a most festive town procession. Refreshments are offered at the Park City Mountain Village just prior to the big arrival.
The Egyptian Theater
For those who prefer to celebrate the season from the warmth of the indoors, this may be just right for you. To celebrate this special time of year, the theater has lined up a variety of holiday cheer:
12/18-20:
Christmas with the Celts
12/21-25:
Kurt Bestor
12/26-31:
The Fifth Dimension
Come on out and celebrate!
New Year’s Eve Venues
While many think of the holiday season in Park City as Christmas, we know how to throw a party of New Year’s, too! Come to Park City to celebrate New Year’s and you’ll have plenty of venues from which to choose. No matter how over-the-top or understated you want your evening, you’ll find the perfect spot here.
Park City Mountain: Canyons Village. A classic New Year’s Eve Party At Grand Summit Hotel for your favorite group of friends and family.

Other Wonderful Non-Holiday Stuff!
Even during this time of year, you’ll find wonderful activities to participate in that don’t have much to do with the holiday. On December 26, for the country music fans, you won’t want to miss Nashville Unplugged, an acoustic concert with some of country music’s most successful songwriters.
Also, our many visiting oenophiles will certainly want to take advantage of the Weekend Wine Series, taking place December 27 at Silver Baron Lodge.
