Have a Sensational Park City Summer

ADVANCED SEARCH

Our Park City winters are kinda famous— and rightfully so. Our mountain peaks and ski slopes are downright legendary, and even played host to the Winter Olympics not too long ago! So we understand if “winter” and “Park City” are somewhat synonymous in your head. We get it.

But we also want to take a moment to show you some of the truly spectacular things to do in Park City in the summertime. When the snow melts and the wildflowers start to bloom, our mountain city literally comes alive. And since we’re more popular in winter, the crowds sort of melt with the snow and disappear too.

Come with us while we let you in on a few of our favorite things to do and places to stay in Park City for the summer season of 2022.

Fabulous Hiking and Mountain Biking Trails

Once the temps warm-up, it’s time to slip out of your skis and into a pair of hiking boots. Our rugged mountain terrain has some of the most beautiful hiking trails in the world.Hiking in Park City Utah

The Jennis Trail is a newer trail that begins at the Park City Mountain Resort and ascends about 1,400 feet up to give you some truly spectacular views. The trail is about 5 miles one way. And since it’s sort of new it’s also wide and flat and well-maintained. Bring a sack lunch and make a day of it!

Fantastic Fly Fishing

Home to two of the “fishiest” rivers in the Rocky Mountains, the Weber River and the Provo River, Park City has lots of opportunities for you to try your hand at catching “the big one” for dinner. Then, you can take your delicious catch home to your Moose Management vacation rental home and fire it up on the grill.

Park City Fly Fishing Guides is one of our favorite places to schedule a day of fly fishing while you’re in town.

Heavenly Horseback Riding

Horseback Riding in Park CityIt’s hard to improve upon the magnificent vistas that Park City offers around every turn, but somehow seeing those views from horseback just makes them that much more special.

One of our favorite stables is called Wind In Your Hair Riding— honestly, how can you beat that name? They have guided trail tours for experienced riders and lessons for beginners. Giddyup!
